Who is responsible for your data
WebTerra is the data controller. Our company and contact details are listed below. If you have any question about your data, you can write to us at any time.
What we collect
Through the "Get a free demo" form we collect:
- your name and your business name;
- your phone number and, if you choose, your email address;
- your city, your industry and the plan you're interested in;
- your Google Maps link or current website and your message, if you add them;
- your agreement to this policy.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages securely. Visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) are anonymous and aggregated, and use no cookies.
Why we use it
- to reply to your request and prepare your demo (steps before entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- to contact you about your demo and our offer, based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a));
- to protect the site against spam and abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)).
We don't use your data for advertising and we never sell it.
Who processes it
We work with a few trusted providers who process data only on our behalf:
- Web3Forms: receives the form message and forwards it to our email;
- Cloudflare: website hosting, attack protection and anonymous statistics;
- our email provider, where we receive and store requests.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, transfers rely on the safeguards set out in the GDPR, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
How long we keep it
- requests that don't turn into a project: no longer than 12 months after our last contact, then we delete them;
- client data: for the duration of our work together, then as long as the law requires (for example, accounting records are kept for 10 years).
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted;
- restrict how it is processed;
- data portability;
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything done before.
Write to us at any time and we'll reply within one month. If you're not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and strict security rules. Only the WebTerra founders can access the requests we receive.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page.
